WISE Employment is proud to reveal our new artwork that represents the evolution of our organisation and dedication to community.
Over the last 30 years, WISE has grown and evolved from two people in one office to the national organisation it is today. This new artwork represents who we are now, our programs, team members, customers and connections to the community.
WISE commissioned artist Gary Saunders to design the piece.
Each of the symbols represent WISE in each of the seven states and territories that WISE operates in. These symbols are connected with each other showing the support network and infrastructure of the organisation, and show customers at the centre represented by circles.
Within each of the symbols, the designs and circles represent the WISE team and workers, this shows the many layers and different programs that make up WISE and the many team members and workers that dedicate their time and effort for the organisation.
The half-circles around the symbols are representative of ‘meeting’ or working together, and show WISE customers represented by the circles inside. This represents the mission of WISE: empowering people to enrich the community.
Gary is a is a proud Bangerang, Yorta Yorta, Wiradjuri, and Dja Dja Wurrung man. He is a Graphic Designer and a musician. Gary is also Christian, a father of four and husband to Samantha Brown. He draws his inspiration for his artwork through his family and his faith.
