If you’re a school leaver, and have an NDIS plan that includes SLES (School Leaver Employment Supports), the NDIS at WISE team can help you transition to work. Tailored NDIS capacity building supports can help you to increase your skills, get job ready, and help you find work.
Get ongoing support that includes supported work experience to build confidence, developing social and communication skills, job skills training, enrolling in study, access to counselling, resume writing, interview practise, navigating public transport, and more!

Are you eligible for School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) and capacity building for school leavers?
Leaving the familiarity of a school environment can feel overwhelming and uncertain. The NDIS at WISE team’s School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) can help you transition to work by developing skills and confidence to find and maintain work that helps you build your future.
Our passionate and experienced team will provide a fun, safe and relaxed environment where you can build your confidence and get ready to enter the workforce.
You may be eligible for SLES if you:
- are 15 to 24 years old, and live in Australia
- have an NDIS plan that includes School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES)
WISE Employment currently offers SLES in:
- Tasmania
- Melbourne
- Bendigo
- Queensland (Sunshine Coast)
- Sydney
- Adelaide
We can potentially support SLES participants outside of these areas remotely.
If you are not eligible for School Leaver Employment Supports, but still need help to find and maintain work, we may be able to assist you through other funding in your NDIS plan.

Once you have a job offer, our support to you continues. We can help provide practical support with work necessities like:
- uniforms
- work equipment
- travel logistics
- on-the-job support
We can attend your first day alongside you to help orientate you with your new workplace and colleagues, and will continue to check in with you as much or as little as you need us to.
