GradWISE Industry AccessAbility Week

GradWISE’s free-to-attend Industry AccessAbility Week will return in 2023! Hosted online, speakers from various employment industries will join GradWISE and provide information on their graduate opportunities. In addition, you will have the chance to ask questions, join lunchtime activities and even receive tips on how to make your application stand out.

The GradWISE Industry AccessAbility Week will run from Monday, 13 February to Friday, 17 February 2023. Each day will kick off at 9:30am (AEDT) with the first speaker starting at 10:00am (AEDT). Each day will wrap up at 2:30pm (AEDT).

All sessions are optional, so you can listen in to hear from organisations that align with your career interests and goals.

Monday, 13 February 2023

Session one: KPMG – 10:00am to 11:00am AEDT

KPMG run two types of graduate programs. One is a 12-month development program that focuses on building key skills for a specific role. However, the Vacation Program is a 4-8 week program offered to both undergraduates and postgraduates.

Session two: Victoria State Government – 11:30am to 12:30pm AEDT

The Victoria State Government are looking for graduates with a range of skills, backgrounds and lived experiences. The programs are streamed and tailored to your degree, plus you’ll be guaranteed a job at the end of the program.

Lunch time activity: Trivia and brain games – 1:00pm to 1:20pm AEDT

Reset the brain with some fun brain activities!

Session three: DFP Recruitment – 1:30pm to 2:30pm AEDT

DFP is a preferred supplier of recruitment services to the Australian Public Service and delivers a number of graduate recruitment programs for government departments nationally.

Session one: accenture – 10:00am to 11:00am AEDT

accenture are a global consultancy firm operating in every corner of the world. They will be kicking off day two discussing their graduate program and opportunities for growth.

Session two: CISCO – 11:30am to 12:30pm AEDT

CISCO have graduate roles in various industries, including engineering, finance, HR, IT, marketing and security. Tune in to learn more about their opportunities and how to apply.

Lunch time activity: Stretching – 1:00pm to 1:20pm AEDT

Re-energise with some stretching. There will be plenty of options to suit all levels of flexibility.

Session three: Cummins – 1:30pm to 2:30pm AEDT

Cummins provide power and energy to people and places all over the world. The Cummins graduate program offers freedom and flexibility for you to explore your passions and make an impact.

Australia post have a range of post graduate opportunities in all areas of their business. Join the session to find out more.

Session two: Telstra – 11:30am to 12:30pm AEDT

WISE partner, Telstra, explains the graduate program’s opportunities and how they will equip you with the learning, experiences, coaching and mentoring you need for your career.

Lunch time activity: Gratitude – 1:00pm to 1:20pm AEDT

Learn about the power of gratitude and how practising gratitude helps you get the most out of every day.

Session three: Australian Network on Disability – 1:30pm to 2:30pm AEDT

Hear from a representative at Australian Network on Disability and see how they help companies employ people with disability, and design a range of products and services for their customers.

Session one: Ernst & Young (EY) – 10:00am to 11:00am AEDT

Join this session to receive tips on the Ernst & Young application process and learn how their inclusive culture enables students to start making an impact before joining the team.

Session two: Museums Victoria – 11:30am to 12:30pm AEDT

Museums Victoria supports the education and development of tertiary students by providing a range of internships, higher degree research programs, and scholarship opportunities.

Lunch time activity: Mindfulness – 1:00pm to 1:20pm AEDT

Learn about all thing mindfulness and the benefits practising it can bring.

Session three: NAB – 1:30pm to 2:30pm AEDT

NAB looks for graduates from different backgrounds, such as commerce, science, business, IT, and engineering. By joining NAB, you’ll receive a tailored program designed to give you broad experience through different rotations.

Closing activity: End of week reflection – 12:30pm AEDT
