The level of employment assistance available is determined by each person’s circumstances and background. The first step is to contact Centrelink to ask if you’re eligible for government-funded employment services — either jobactive or Disability Employment Services (DES) employment programs.
If Centrelink determines that you are eligible for employment services, contact 1800 685 105 to be referred to your nearest WISE office, or register your interest as a job seeker online.
Alternatively, you can contact your nearest WISE office directly, and ask about which employment services would be applicable to you. You can find your nearest WISE Employment office in NSW, NT, SA, QLD, VIC & TAS.

Centrelink will conduct an ESAt (Employment Services Assessment) to verify that you have a medical condition/injury/disability and, subsequently, determine that you are eligible for Disability Employment Services (DES).
Please get in touch with your local WISE office to discuss further. The WISE team would be able to talk you through and help you with the process. Find your local WISE Employment office or free-call our team on 1800 685 105.
