Nope, hiring someone with a disability does not require a lot of work. Our mission is to make hiring someone with disability as easy as possible for you. We'll do all the recruiting, cost-free to you. We screen, interview and shortlist candidates to save your time. We'll also provide any required equipment for free, and, if you'd like, we'll provide free staff training for your team so they understand how to work with someone with disability. All you have to do is tell us what you're looking for in a candidate and we'll do the rest.
Nope, not a cent. In fact it's the opposite - you may qualify for a government subsidy to eligible employers of up to $10,000. WISE is funded by the Australian Government. We exist because the government understands how important it is to include people with disability in the workplace. So you won't have to worry about any of the recruitment costs. We know there's a lot of stigma around hiring someone with disability and that's why we provide free training for all your staff members - so that they know how to work with their new colleagues. We'll also be on call at any time to ensure you and your team have all the support you need.
Nope, that's on us. We'll provide everything you and your future employee will need. In the past, WISE has installed voice-activated lifts for the blind, and provided specialised computer equipment. We offer a comprehensive range of Occupational Rehabilitation services including: injury management and return to work (RTW) services, activities of daily living assessment, workstation assessments, vocational and psychological services.
We'll do whatever it takes to ensure your WISE employees have what they need to start a fulfilling career.

Excellent question - here's a summary of all the ways we support you:
- We'll take a consultative approach and meet with you to learn about your business, employee needs, and available positions.
- We recruit, screen, interview and shortlist candidates to save your time.
- We advise on important employment matters, like induction programs, buddying, mentoring, flexible work environments and training.
- If we identify skills gaps, we can coordinate your new staff members' training to make sure they are the perfect fit for your business.
- We provide workplace relations and human resources management advice, and liaise with you and your worker's support network (e.g. GP, health services and/or family) if required.
As soon as you sign up, a WISE representative will be in touch. They'll organise to meet you in person to learn about your company, the available positions and what you're looking for in an employee. After this, they'll start the recruitment process. As soon as a job candidate has been placed, we'll offer you post-placement employer support to make sure you, your team and your new employee are happy together, long term.
