WISE Employment sponsors Victorian FIDA Football League Metro Conference 2018
We’re very proud to announce that WISE Employment is sponsoring the Victorian FIDA (Football Integration Development Association) Football League Metro Conference, governed by AFL Victoria, in 2018.
The Victorian FIDA Football League provides Victorians who have an intellectual disability the opportunity to participate in Australian Rules Football at a competitive level. The partnership with WISE will encourage people with a disability to play Australian Football and assist them to find employment across Victoria.
WISE Employment has been providing support and opportunities for meaningful employment to job seekers with a disability for over 25 years.
Open to males and females aged 14 years and over, the Victorian FIDA Football League includes four metropolitan divisions and two regional conferences across Victoria.
WISE Employment Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Lambelle, said the not-for-profit employment services provider was proud to be sponsoring the Victorian FIDA Football League Metro Conference for 2018. “We see in our work every day that engagement with peers and a sense of belonging are vital to developing self-esteem and confidence in our job seekers, and therefore see a fantastic synergy between WISE Employment and the Victorian FIDA Football League. We look forward to being a part of the league, and wish all the players and teams the best of luck for the upcoming season.”
The Victorian FIDA Football League Metro Conference starts on Sunday April 8, followed by regional Victoria’s Western Conference starts on April 18, and the Northern Conference on May 20.
